COMMITTEE DESCRIPTIONS
Fundraising Committees
Travelogue (Shea Smith)
Plan, organize, and promote the sale of program ads and tickets for the six Travel & Adventure Series shows at the Grand Opera House and assist with the actual operation of the shows.
Onion Sales (Hap Aldrich)
Plan, organize, and promote the sale of Vidalia onions. Arrange for pick up of the onions to have at a Tuesday luncheon for distribution to members.
Service Committees
Priority One (Jeanna Fennell)
A major emphasis of Kiwanis International is the promotion of programs intended to benefit children from before birth to age 5. This committee assists with child safety seat checks and also coordinates our support of Camp Maheta Luptke for the children from the Psycho Ed Center.
Community Services (Rob Matson)
The standing projects are Salvation Army bellringing and working the Cherry Blossom Festival Information Booth.
Human & Spiritual Values (Jim Filush)
The purpose of this committee is to carry out the first Object of Kiwanis and to arrange members to give the invocation each week.
